Sekiu (Guide)

Sekiu on the Olympic Peninsula along the Strait of Juan de Fuca is a prime fishing destination known for excellent salmon runs as well as halibut lingcod and rockfish from boats launched at local marinas or from shore. Boating trips take advantage of the protected waters but require attention to tidal currents for safe navigation. Beaches and nearby areas provide opportunities for surf fishing and beachcombing while low tides expose interesting intertidal zones. The small town atmosphere with access to trails adds to its appeal for anglers and nature enthusiasts.
