First Landing State Park (Tide Pool)

First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach, where English colonists first landed in 1607, features calm Chesapeake Bay shores with rocky outcrops and sandy flats exposing small tide pools at low tide, alive with barnacles, mussels, shore crabs, periwinkles, and occasional small fish.
