Newburyport (Guide)

Newburyport on the Merrimack River offers reliable fishing for striped bass and bluefish and summer flounder from the waterfront or small boats with outgoing tides concentrating fish near the river mouth. Public boat ramps at Newburyport Harbor and the city marina provide launches slips and fuel for river and sound trips targeting black sea bass.
