Daytona Beach (Guide)

Daytona Beach on Floridas Atlantic coast offers excellent surf and inlet fishing for redfish snook tarpon flounder and pompano from the beach or small boats with lower tides exposing more structure along the inlet and jetties for stronger bites. Fishing from the Daytona Beach Main Street Pier and Sunglow Pier is popular. Check current FWC regulations before heading out.

The Daytona Beach Municipal Marina and public boat ramps at Sunglow Pier and nearby provide convenient launches slips and fuel for coastal trips but strong rip currents are common along the beaches. Always confirm current marine conditions in the NOAA NWS Forecast section displayed above.

The famous drive on beach and long stretches from Ormond Beach to the Main Street Pier deliver wide sand for family picnics swimming surfing shore casting and low tide exploration making Daytona Beach a top tourist destination on the Atlantic coast.
