Anchor Point (Guide)

Anchor Point on the Kenai Peninsula delivers excellent halibut and salmon fishing from shore or small boats with lower tides exposing more structure and improving catches. Charters operate from nearby ramps for bigger trips into Cook Inlet. Beaches allow surf fishing and walking while nearby trails offer coastal views in this productive southcentral spot.

Anderson Island Ferry (Guide)

Anderson Island Ferry on the south Sound offers excellent fishing for salmon when running and rockfish and lingcod and flounder from the ferry terminal or small boats with outgoing tides concentrating fish near the island structure for stronger bites. Public boat ramps at Anderson Island Ferry provide convenient launches slips and fuel for bay trips targeting greenling and perch. Beaches at Anderson Island Ferry and the adjacent island shores deliver calm sand for family picnics swimming and shore casting with island views. The ferry accessible island setting makes tide planning simple and rewarding.
