Port Angeles and Ediz Hook (Guide)

Port Angeles on the Strait of Juan de Fuca offers excellent fishing for salmon halibut rockfish lingcod and Dungeness crab from the city pier Ediz Hook and small boats with moving tides stirring bait and concentrating fish near structure. Check current WDFW regulations before heading out.

The Port Angeles Boat Haven Marina and City Pier public boat launch provide convenient slips fuel launches and trailer parking with direct access to the strait for charters and private boats but strong tidal currents require careful planning for safe navigation. Always confirm current marine conditions in the NOAA NWS Forecast section displayed above.

Ediz Hook and the Port Angeles Waterfront Trail offer long sandy and rocky shoreline for beachcombing walking low tide exploration and picnics with scenic views of the Olympic Mountains making it a popular destination for families and shore activities.
