Fort Casey (Guide)

Fort Casey on Whidbey Island offers excellent fishing for salmon when running and rockfish and lingcod and flounder from the historic point or small boats with outgoing tides concentrating fish near the fort structure for stronger bites. Public boat ramps at Fort Casey provide convenient launches slips and fuel for sound trips targeting greenling and perch. Beaches at Fort Casey State Park and the adjacent Keystone deliver calm sand for family picnics swimming and shore casting with historic fort views. The state park point setting with easy access makes tide planning simple and rewarding.
