degrees and low temperatures down to 60 degrees expected. This
will pose a moderate risk of heat-related illness.

* WHERE...Eastern Kitsap County, Eastern Strait of Juan de Fuca,
Lowlands of Western Skagit and Northwestern Snohomish Counties,

Kingston (Guide)

Kingston on the north end of the Sound offers excellent fishing for salmon when running and rockfish and lingcod and flounder from the waterfront or small boats with outgoing tides concentrating fish near the ferry terminal for stronger bites. Public boat ramps at Kingston marina provide convenient launches slips and fuel for bay trips targeting greenling and perch. Beaches at Kingston waterfront and the adjacent Point No Point and Hansville deliver calm sand for family picnics swimming and shore casting with sound views. The ferry town setting with easy access makes tide planning simple and rewarding.
