Coos Bay, Oregon (Guide)

Coos Bay on Oregons southern coast offers excellent fishing for salmon, sturgeons Dungeness crab, lingcod, rockfish and perch from the shore jetties and small boats with moving tides stirring bait around the bay channels and jetties for stronger bites. Public boat ramps at Charleston Marina and the Coos Bay Boat Ramp provide convenient launches slips fuel and access to Coos Bay and the Pacific but the Coos Bay bar is dangerous with strong currents and swells.
