John Day River Boat Ramp Youngs Bay (Other)

Public boat launch ramp at John Day County Park on the John Day River tributary to Youngs Bay managed by Clatsop County. Features parking, restrooms, and access to Youngs Bay and the lower Columbia River for fishing, crabbing, and boating. Close to Youngs Bay shoreline; strong tidal currents and river flows require caution for safe launches and navigation, especially at low tides when channels shallow.

Shoreline and tidal flat access around Youngs Bay with parking nearby for walking, shore fishing, crabbing, and viewing the bay estuary.
