Ocean City (Guide)

Ocean City on the Atlantic coast offers excellent fishing for striped bass and bluefish and summer flounder from the beaches or small boats with outgoing tides improving surf action near the inlet. Public boat ramps at Ocean City harbor and the inlet area provide convenient launches slips and fuel for bay and ocean trips targeting black sea bass and tautog. Beaches at Ocean City Beach and the adjacent Assateague Island and Fenwick Island deliver wide sand for family picnics swimming and shore casting with boardwalk views. The iconic resort town setting makes tide planning fun and productive.

Expansive public park and beach on the north end of Ocean City featuring wide sandy shoreline access for swimming sunbathing picnics fishing pier playgrounds and low tide beachcombing with views over the inlet and Atlantic. Excellent for family outings shore fishing tide pool exploration and enjoying coastal breezes where tidal cycles expose more intertidal zones and create varying conditions for relaxing beach days or combining with nearby inlet activities. Ample parking facilities and proximity to the inlet make it a top spot for pairing beach time with tide watching and Ocean City north end scenery.

Ocean City Fishing Center and Marlin Club Marina (Other)

Full service marina and fishing center on the south end of Ocean City offering transient slips fuel ice bait tackle shop charters for offshore and inshore fishing and direct access to the Ocean City Inlet and Atlantic Ocean. Popular hub for serious anglers and boaters where tidal ranges influence inlet currents navigation and timing of trips to productive fishing grounds in the bay and offshore waters. Proximity to restaurants shops and the boardwalk makes it convenient for combining marina docking with tide monitoring and enjoying the vibrant Ocean City waterfront scene.

Ocean City Inlet and Northside Boat Ramp (Other)

Public boat ramp area near the Ocean City Inlet on the north side providing access for trailered boats kayaks and small craft launches into the inlet and Atlantic Ocean with parking nearby for day use fishing and coastal trips.
