Waimea Bay (Guide)

Waimea Bay on Kauai delivers strong fishing for papio ulua threadfin and occasional trevally from the beach or small boats with lower tides exposing flats and improving casting success near the river mouth. The bay area has convenient launches for kayaks and small vessels exploring the north shore. Iconic beaches at Waimea Bay Beach and nearby Pakala Beach offer beautiful sand for family picnics swimming and light shore activities with dramatic mountain views. The north shore location is perfect for tide timed adventures.
