Waianae (Guide)

Waianae on the leeward side of Oahu provides solid fishing for papio ulua and goatfish from the beaches or small boats with lower tides exposing more flats and structure for better casting success. The Waianae Boat Harbor offers ramps slips and services for coastal trips. Beaches at Pokai Bay Beach Park Maili Beach Park and Nanakuli Beach deliver long sandy stretches ideal for family outings swimming and shore casting with protected waters. Located just north of Kaneilio Point the harbor provides direct access to productive west side waters where tidal ranges influence ramp exposure water levels in channels and navigation enhancing opportunities for day trips charters and nearshore exploration along the Waianae coast. Convenient facilities with parking and proximity to town support combining boating with tide monitoring and enjoying this busy trailer boat hub on Oahu.
