Public boat ramp near the Elk River RR Bridge in Humboldt Bay providing concrete ramp access parking and easy launch for trailered boats kayaks and small craft into Elk River Slough leading to the main Humboldt Bay and Pacific Ocean through the North Jetty. Convenient for day trips fishing excursions and exploring the bay where significant tidal ranges expose mudflats at low tide and create strong currents requiring careful timing for safe launching return and navigation through the slough and bay channels.
